[#CONFERENCE] 🌱 We wish to thank our clients and partners for their participation in our #Energytransition Global Digital Conference. Convinced that a holistic approach to Energy Transition is more than ever needed, it appeared essential to shed a light on what to expect from public policies, point the investments needed and investigate the financing options. With all parties committed to their own #NetZero trajectories, whether Corporates or Financial Investors, fostering a well-informed mutual understanding is key to ensure an efficient allocation of capital to the right Energy Transition needs. We especially warmly thank our panelists for their highly valuable contributions!

Flux's CEO Nic Kennedy and CCO Jessica Venning-Bryan attended Future of Utilities Summit in Amsterdam along with other senior leaders, innovators, policy makers, and those investing to advance the global transition toward a #renewableenergy ecosystem. Here's their key takeaways from the event: 💸 Significantly more investment is needed to create multi-party, multi-sector solutions to propel the energy transition forward. 📈 Experiments in grid optimisation are yielding compelling results, but we need to move faster and need more investment to scale up (see the theme?!). Collaboration on investment and innovation is essential to achieve this. 👨👨👦👦 Consumers will only participate en-masse if access and engagement with distributed energy solutions are straightforward. But the reward will be worth the effort. #FutureOfUtilities #EnergyTransition #EnergyInnovation #EnergyTech

2024 is a critical year for the #energytransition in the US. Although a deceleration seems unthinkable in light of so much progress and necessity, market dynamics could merge to slow advancement. In this month’s #WMHorizons, we explore the impact of government policy, consumer choices and the competitiveness of emerging technologies on the future of US #energyinvestment. In our delayed transition scenario, Wood Mackenzie projects about US$6.5 trillion in investment for the US energy sector over 2023-50, about 55% lower than in our #netzero scenario. Read the insight on a delayed transition scenario from my teammate, David Brown, now: https://okt.to/q6jJhB

Ever pondered how we can power up our future efficiently? 🤔💡🌍 There's an exciting buzz around a fresh study that might just be a game-changer for Europe's grid investments. The Florence School of Regulation has delivered a compelling proposal - a benefit-based remuneration approach for energising our grid infrastructure. 🌐💶 Here's the deal: instead of just splashing cash on equipment and hoping for the best, we'd focus on the value projects add to our system. It's smart, efficient, and could seriously speed up our journey to net zero. 🚀🌿 Imagine this: every solution is measured for its actual worth to us all. We're talking about incentives based on real life cost-efficiency, rewarding ingenuity and sustainable thinking. 👏🔋 Of course, there're hurdles to jump over, like the usual regulatory maze and making sure we're on point with identifying system needs. But it's clear, the potential perks of switching up our strategy could be huge for everyone. 🛠️✨ 📣 So, let's chew over this - could a benefit-led mindset be the spark we need to revolutionise our energy networks? Drop your thoughts below or ping me for a deeper dive into the future of Europe's energy landscape! 🔌🌱 #EnergyFuture #GridInnovation #SustainableEurope
