Supplier News: We are delighted to be continuing our partnership with Across Nature with a new purchase agreement. Across Nature work with high-impact carbon removal and one of their featured projects is Nicaforest, a reforestation project that focuses on creating a sustainable value chain around reforestation while supporting local community development. Since Nicaforest’s establishment in 2010, they have planted more than 360,000 teak trees on degraded land, and removed over 98,000 tonnes of CO2 from the atmosphere. They also provide educational workshops and job opportunities related to sustainable forest management. In the words of Simon Bager, PhD, Co-founder and CIO at Klimate: "Having personally seen Nicaforest reforestation initiatives in action, I'm really excited to be expanding our collaboration with them. Their commitment to restoring forest ecosystems while bolstering local communities and biodiversity is truly inspiring.
