Stanford University University of Cambridge Carnegie Mellon University University of Oxford ✅ Answer: University of Cambridge (17% answered correctly) In 1953, the University of Cambridge began offering a full-year course in computer science, initially titled the Diploma in Numerical Analysis and Automatic Computing, and eventually renamed the Diploma in Computer Science. The diploma is equivalent to a master's degree and initially consisted mainly of students with mathematics, science, and engineering backgrounds. It focused on developing and analyzing algorithms for solving numerical problems and automatic computing.
