LinkedIn has been an invaluable platform for connecting with fellow clinical innovators and staying at the forefront of the rapidly evolving health tech landscape. I recently came across a thought-provoking article by Paulius Mui, MD, and Ben Dolson titled "The Clinical Innovation Mindset Stack: A framework for thinking differently about healthcare transformation." The authors define clinical innovation as "innovation and improvement that originates from within the clinical organization and advances at least one component of the Quintuple Aim of healthcare without compromising others." At LliBott Consultorios Médicos, I have had the unique opportunity to leverage my background as both a clinician and software engineer to develop in-house applications that directly impact and improve the day-to-day experiences of our patients and staff. Our organization's culture of innovation has empowered us to continuously refine processes at various levels through the strategic implementation of technology. It's truly inspiring to witness the growing trend of clinicians transitioning into pivotal roles within the health tech space, where their firsthand knowledge and expertise can drive meaningful change.
