I unfortunately did not have the pleasure of meeting the SERI team till the end of 2022, the thought leadership of Corey Dehmey and Jeff Seibert has helped shift this conference into a broader view of recycling as not just an end of life consideration, but how we should encompass design and extending the lifetimes of electronics into the E-Waste conversation. Additionally drawing on the expertise of Sarah Kim this year, the Circular Electronics track has evolved into a must attend for anyone engaged in any part of the electronics value chain. (𝘌𝘢𝘳𝘭𝘺 𝘉𝘪𝘳𝘥 𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘴 𝘵𝘰𝘥𝘢𝘺 𝘴𝘰 𝘱𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘦 𝘥𝘰𝘯'𝘵 𝘮𝘪𝘴𝘴 𝘰𝘶𝘵!) From Design, Refurbishment and Recycling Phases, it is great to have major brand OEMs engaged in this conversation. Don't miss Petri Hayrynen, Jennifer Foxworthy and Sinéad McCabe covering aspects of these topics respectively. The most positive takeaway of the Circular Electronics track is its influence on other tracks, with design for recycling becoming a larger topic in the battery stream. One topic I find particularly exciting is direct recycling, which is gaining more attention and development. Hear from Simon Ziegler and Andreas Bittner explore the future of this process. I have had the pleasure of knowing Corey Dehmey since 2021 and when he and SERI joined us as content partners producing the track Circular Electronics for E-Waste World Conference & Expo he and his team have helped the show go from strength to strength. This year again they have reimagined how this content can be shared with the audience and will be taking you on an E-Waste journey from First Use to Re-Use to the Recycling stage with some of the smartest and most innovative speakers in the Industry. Take advantage of this year's early bird discount (Ending Today) for your change to come and learn from and network with the likes of Petri Hayrynen Kyle Wiens Mark Hoff, MBA Michelle James Jennifer Foxworthy Hugo Bergmann Sinéad McCabe You Can Register For This Event Here: https://lnkd.in/ef9YnKMs

📢Unlocking the secrets behind CO2 detection in packaging integrity testing: a journey through boundaries and challenges: 🌬️CO2 detection is quite often used by butchers and meat producers, but the method often struggle; CO2 in the air and increasing saturation make results unreliable. Enter Contura, our game-changer! 🚀 Operating on a solid physical principle, not tracer gases, it ensures precision. No grey areas, just reliable leak detection. 🛡️✨ I, for one, wouldn't risk it even for a 30% discount! 🤷♂️ #leakdetection #NoCompromise Contura isn't just about leak detection; it's a hero against food waste. 🦸♂️ Non-destructive and sensitive testing prevents disappointment before critical processes begin. 🍲🌍 Have you ever regretted a discounted food purchase?👇 #FoodWasteHeroes #ConturaSaves

As World Water Week 2023 unfolds, the glass packaging industry is continuing to look at how to improve water consumption to help address critical global water challenges and help our customers cut their own product footprint, in turn. Glass manufacturers such as SAVERGLASS, Ardagh Group, Vetropack Group, O-I and several others have already taken steps to improve water efficiency by: ♻️ Implementing water recirculation strategies 🌧️ Creating rainwater collection systems 🔄 Using air cooling methods instead of water to cool production processes 🚰 Adopting water-efficient equipment These are just a few examples of how the industry is taking steps towards responsible water management. A fantastic couple of days at the 28th ICIS World Base Oils and Lubricants Conference in London. It was great that Slicker Recycling’s Mark Olpin & AVISTA Green’s Tommi Jarvinen were asked to be guest speakers. They highlighted the importance of why good quality used lubricating oil feedstock is needed in the rerefining processes , and why it is crucial for our planet 🌎. But not just that, still over 50% of Europe’s waste lubricating oil is burnt! This needs to change and to make this change we need to engage with the whole value chain- base oil & lubricant manufacturers, waste oil producers, collectors and regulators. All need to work together to make the shift to reducing this statistic. It’s time to start thinking about value for planet, CO2 reductions and our carbon footprint. What happens to your waste lubricating oil, what’s its next life cycle?
