Both the implemented projects and ongoing soil contamination research activities indicate the need to continue and multiply this work, to obtain information on all agricultural land in Ukraine affected by military operations. Only conducting such a study in full and obtaining maximum information will not only help Ukrainian farmers, but also conduct in-depth data analysis and build models that will be useful for remediation of all affected lands in the world.
To support Ukraine's small and medium-sized farmers, it is necessary to survey a large amount of agricultural land in Ukraine. There is still a lot of work to be done. To carry out this work, our Association, together with the GreenUkraine.CH team, has engaged as partners agro-cooperatives (which unite thousands of small and medium-sized farmers); agricultural advisory services; Ukrainian, Swiss and UK scientific institutions and experts; research laboratories and institutes; urban communities and ministries of Ukraine (#MinistryOfAgrarianPolicyAndFood and #MinistryOfEconomyOfUkraine). And we are confident that together with our current and future partners, for whom we are always open, we will be able to help every farmer step by step! Every small step we take is a sure way to a big goal!

🌳 🌞 Meteo Romania organised their Fourth Down to Earth #StakeholderMeeting on 16th July! 🤝 This meeting followed on from the Third #StudyVisit in the German region of Neckar-Alb in June and aimed to collect feedback on Access Barriers to Young Farmers, the topic of our second year! The meeting was well-attended with representatives from different ministries, professionals and specialised press! 🛑 Drought and bureaucratic challenges hinder agricultural work. 👨🏫 Youth in agriculture need better education and fewer bureaucratic hurdles. 💶 Financing for agriculture is insufficient and decreasing. 🗺 Policies need to consider local climatic conditions. 👨⚖️ Emphasized the need for agricultural land merging laws and lease law updates. 🔗 Discover more: https://lnkd.in/dCvxjSMu
