Great to see so many familiar faces at the AI and Automation in Primary Care Roundtable at The Health Foundry in London yesterday. Thanks to Jake for presenting some of the successes, as part of the real-world evaluation, that they’ve experienced using Rapid Health’s Smart Triage. Additional thanks to Hatim Abdulhussein, Jenny Partridge, Matthew Peach, and their team, who put on a fantastic, over-subscribed event. Listening to some of the other presentations, it was clear that we were the only autonomous patient triage and navigation system on show. The real difference being to provide the patient the right appointment to book, at the time of their Smart Triage assessment. And the results that Jake presented strongly reinforced the benefits of having that autonomy. Look out for future posts to see the detailed results of the real-world evaluation. Imagine living in a rural area and needing a life-saving diagnosis, but the nearest specialist is miles away. That's the harsh reality for many, but one company is using our #5G to change that. 🙌 Mortality rates for the top 10 leading causes of death are significantly higher in rural areas than in cities. A major reason is rural patients' lack of access to specialists to diagnose serious diseases. Enter Dopl Technologies, a game-changer in healthcare equity. 🩺 By leveraging our 5G network, Dopl's platform enables telerobotic procedures, such as robot-assisted ultrasounds, to diagnose critical conditions like heart disease – no matter where you live. 🌍❤️ Access to healthcare shouldn't be limited by geography, and Dopl is making sure it's not. Huge congratulations to Doctors for the Environment Australia (DEA) for a world class conference at #iDEA24. Stellar line up and evidenced-based content. One of many stand out messages was Canberra Cardiologist Dr Arnagretta Hunter's "It's time to REMOVE LOW VALUE CARE" ( @cbr_heartdoc ) On WHO's #WorldHealthDay, it's time to accelerate reducing LVC = more efficient and effective healthcare. = saving billions of dollars we currently pour down the drain. = decreasing healthcare waste and emissions. We are currently implementing programs decreasing LVC in NSW Health e..g. tackling unnecessary pathology testing - targeting 20-30% reductions More exciting programs are coming on stream across our emergency departments and hospitals.

In the fast-paced world of healthcare, every second counts. Opto Health's innovative platform is designed to accelerate the urgent and emergency triage process, ensuring that patients receive the care they need as swiftly and efficiently as possible. But what sets Opto Health apart goes beyond its cutting-edge technology - it's about equality, inclusivity, and respect for all individuals. 💙 Every clinicians’ decision making is subject to unconscious (or implicit) bias. Unlike traditional triage methods that could inadvertently lead to bias or discrimination, Opto Health's platform eliminates any potential for unconscious bias related to a person's colour, race, gender, sexual orientation, or ethnicity. By relying on objective data and advanced algorithms, Opto Health ensures that every patient receives the same fair and impartial assessment, promoting equal access to care for all, regardless of who they are. 💡 Imagine a healthcare system where every patient is evaluated solely based on their medical needs and without any judgments related to their identity. Opto Health is making this vision a reality, aligning with the core principles of healthcare - to treat and heal without prejudice. Join us in celebrating the strides Opto Health is making towards more just and equitable urgent and emergency healthcare services. Let's spread the word about this game-changing platform that not only accelerates triage but also champions diversity, inclusivity, and equal treatment for everyone. Together, we can reshape the future of emergency medical services! 👏🌈 #OptoHealth #DigitalTriage #HealthcareInnovation #EqualityInCare #InclusivityMatters #DiversityInHealthcare #FutureOfHealthcare
