Time has flown by! The achievements of the UK team over the past years have been truly remarkable. Well don to all involved! We kicked off our journey with the launch of Branch #1 in Crawley back in 2016. Now we have expanded to Branch #7, covering the Eastern part of the country. Right from the outset, our goal was to reach the majority of our customers within a 1-hour timeframe, and an overal cover of 2-hour. I'm proud to share that we have successfully achieved this for a vast portion of the country. This accomplishment has enabled us to adopt a flexible approach to projects, on-site visits, and services. Our strong belief in the importance of local presence has been pivotal in building partnerships. #partners #partnerships Reflecting on my personal journey, it's been an incredible ride, albeit not without its challenges. Yet, I wouldn't trade those experiences for anything. Building our team across different locations, scouting for suitable business spaces (warehouses/offices), navigating relationships with landlords and local councils, managing our fleet and IT infrastructure – all while building a great team, a JK family, with dedicated colleagues fulfilling diverse roles, whether in-office, on-the-road, or providing cross-border support. Piecing all these elements together is solving a jigsaw puzzle :) I take pride in contributing to this growth and expansion. It's safe to say that JK floorheating Ltd. now stands strong across Scotland, England, and Wales. I want to thank all our partners, especially those who've been with us since day one – you've been instrumental in making all of this a reality. Our goal has always been to create a situation where everyone comes benefits from the solution and service provided. We're aiming for that ultimate win-win-win scenario, where our partners, their clients, and our company all succeed together. As we approach nearly three decades in business, one thing remains clear: our partners have been the foundation of our journey, they've been there, contributing to growth and achievements. Blast from the past…. Blimey, I remember boards like this from my previous careers. For one organisation I worked for this is what we did, we spent our time filling this out with everyone wondering why we weren’t getting any time to do the job we were employed to do (trusted to do apparently). You can imagine the reaction of the operations director when explaining why our board was blank during a visit to the flagship site one day. Build teams you trust, give them the room to do what you employed them to do, inspect what you expect, of course, but just not four times a day. If you need to take that approach here’s my top tip: you recruited the wrong people. #thursdaythought

🚀 3 Years at Beaumont.... 🚀 Well this post is 24 hours out of date as I started on 08/08/2020 - I'm sleep deprived so cut me some slack! Upon joining beaumont during an uncertain time... My passion and love for recruitment came back. So what's happened... - 3 Promotions 💫 - Two beautiful daughters 👶👶 - Joined the property ladder - Now growing a second desk (Is there something wrong with me!?😅) Most importantly... NUFC Takeover and Qualification to the Champions League. ⬛⬜⬛⬜ I don't always like shouting about my accomplishments and achievements... But I guess I'm doing something right... I'm still here after all. 😁 This couldn't have been possible without the ongoing support of my peers, family and friends - especially with what I was going through personally during a real tough time. Big shout out to the team Andrew Oakley George Rose Owen Powell Gareth Morgan Josh Wood Owen Powell Sarah Belcher Rob Beddows... And even Jamie Hall whilst he was living his best life travelling across Asia 😎 great to have you back!!!! Suppose I should pass on some thanks to the big bro as well. Shaun Hemmings and someone I've always looked up too! 🤗 And I cannot forget the wonderful clients and candidates who put their trust in me every day in finding the best talent or opportunities within the market. What have I learned? - There's plenty of set backs we face, personally and professionally. but having a good support function that exists both outside and inside of work is pivotal in bouncing back. - I'd say I'm pretty thick skinned by now. (And I'm not talking about my weight gain! 🤣 ) - The importance of making time for family and myself... The ability to switch the mind off away from recruitment 'outside of work' which at times is a bit of a grey area as you never really stop. - This has helped me avoid burnouts. 😤 - Leadership qualities through setting a continued example to my peers but also providing insights alongside training & development to once 'aspiring recruiters' and witnessing them flourish in respective markets. 🎓 To end on a good note...
