Happy holidays and best wishes for 2024 from The D. E. Shaw Group! Visit us at deshaw.com #deshawgroup
The wishes are quite classic for the year 2024 and very innovative 😃😃😃😃😃 a 24 sided dice can have 24 numbers ranging from 1 to 24 possibility: dice1 dice2 20 24 24 20 now probability of rolling 20 on any dice is 1/24 probability of rolling 24 on any dice is 1/24 probability of rolling 20 and 24 is 1/24 * 1/24 = 1/576 but as per the possibility mentioned above, either dice1 can have 20 and dice2 can have 24 or dice1 can have 24 and dice2 can have 20 therefore probability= 1/24*1/24 + 1/24*1/24 =2/576 =1/288 =0.3472% <0.35% now giving an answer for the odds(didn't really understand what ur expectations are but giving it in logical terms- few of them are 1)year 2023 and 35th anniversary numbers are odd, 2)sound is odd while displaying 'what are odds' in video. 3)imagine odd implies failures i.e getting 2024 failures <0.35%, implies 99.65% to be even(success) in 2024 etc..... can still think better..... Thanks for posting, very thought provoking
