🌟 Wednesday Wisdom: On the Eve of Recognition 🌟 As we find ourselves just one day away from the Yorkshire Accountancy Awards, a moment of reflection and anticipation fills the air at our firm. It's an honour to stand among the shortlisted, recognized not just in one, but in two distinguished categories: Independent Firm of the Year and Niche Firm of the Year. 🏆 While the excitement is undeniable, today's wisdom revolves around the journey rather than the destination. Being shortlisted alongside some truly fantastic peers is a win in itself. It's a testament to the hard work, dedication, and unique approach we bring to the table every day. 🌱 Winning would be the cherry on top, but it's the inclusion that truly warms our hearts. It reaffirms that what we're doing resonates within our industry and, more importantly, provides value to those we serve. This recognition is a reminder of why we started, why we persist, and why we'll continue to innovate and lead with integrity and passion. 💼 So, as we look forward to tomorrow's announcement, let's remember that success isn't solely measured by trophies or titles, but by the impact we make, the lives we touch, and the community we build and serve. Here's to celebrating every milestone, big or small, and to the continued pursuit of excellence, regardless of the outcome. 🌟 What are you wins this week? No matter how small they are? #WednesdayWisdom #YorkshireAccountancyAwards #CelebratingSuccess #Gratitude

Best of luck for tonight but the post you shared says it all. It is about recognising how far you have come in your journey and the impact you have made and continue to make for your clients. My biggest win so far this week has been a lovely meeting with a new client and helping them discover greater insights into their personality and the brilliant sides but also the things that are holding them back.

In my job the most important person, is the one who's name is on the payslip.

Fingers crossed that you get to walk to the podium. My wins this week are simple ones, but important ones. I have onboarded a new client, I have sorted out a pension (think ball of wool after 30 minutes with a kitten type mess) and had some great networking catchups and its only Wednesday!
