Who says leadership has to fit a dusty mold? I’m redefining modern leadership with a scoop of joy and a sprinkle of authenticity. No ill-fitted suits or dated jewelry for me. I’m done making myself small to make others feel better while diminishing my magic. We can create organizations where performance, growth, wellbeing and dynamism thrive, reflecting the world we live in. Who's with me?
I completely agree with you! Leadership should not be limited to traditional stereotypes. Authenticity and joy are important qualities that can inspire and motivate others. It's time to break free from the old mold and create a new standard for leadership that embraces diversity and individuality. Count me in!
With you 💯Daisy Auger-Domínguez (she/her/ella)!! Leading and living life in bold, vivid color!!
All in - Gen Z is leading the way and asking lots of valid questions about workplace culture and flexibility- but it will take people in positions of power (like you) to reshape it.
100% de acuerdo! Signed by a friendly, over cheerful , vibrant color loving Afro Latina!
Leadership needs to be redefined. As leaders, we need to create a space where people feel comfortable. There is nothing against the suits, but there is a time and place for that, and day-to-day leadership does not fit that mold!
So with you Daisy! Stand up and stand out. Love your hair and pronouns (never seen the Ella). I might borrow a version of that for mine. Hope you’re doing amazing!
I agree! sometimes you drop that suit and be yourself. There's life after work. The corporate world, does not always mean rigidity. Those we interact with at work can still be good and hearty friends...hmmm makes the load lighter. ❤️
Presente!
Me! I am on the same wave length with Daisy! I was just talking with someone this morning about changing the narrative of leadership starting self. The importance of unlearning and relearn must be intentional.

1moI did the pencil skirts and stilettos version of what “women at work” are supposed to look like. The 2024 version is chic without being rigid—and you’re right. It feels bigger.
