It’s HERE!!! Week 15 update for Premium Beverages is rolling out to stores across the country! Building a category strategy and watching it come to life nationwide is one of the most fulfilling aspects of the role. This modular update has one primary objective: Be credible to customers who shop the category. How did we do that? We identified regional preferences across the US and customized assortment at the CMA-level. For example, if you live in the PNW, you expect to find a wide variety of kombucha, not just the 2-3 brands that are nationally distributed. If you live in S. FL, you want more assortment of functional shots. These strategic decisions allow us to better align our assortment to the customer demand. Simple changes for us, huge changes for the customers in those markets. We spent time last night and this morning in stores #144 and #5837 resetting the mod and passing out some of the new items to customers (before we could even stock them!). I’m am eager to watch the performance of this mod over the summer and want to give a big shoutout to Cory Baker and Gabriel Garcia, MBA for bringing this vision to life. #EatWhatYouCook #DrinkWhatYouDraw #PantryWithAPurpose
