Can anyone point me to recent research on conflict dynamics within the Rohingya refugee camps around Cox's Bazar (including criminal and armed groups activity)? (apart from the recent ICG reports, there is not much), thanks! I am concerned that most of the humanitarian interventions currently ongoing in those camps have not undertaken thorough conflict sensitivity assessments to understand the impact of their projects there. #rohingya #coxsbazar #conflictanalysis

Do people exposed to conflict and violence mostly aspire to migrate? Jessica Hagen-Zanker, Marta Bivand Erdale, and I explore this question using survey and qualitative #MIGNEX data of young adults (18-39) from eleven communities across Afghanistan, Ethiopia, Nigeria, and Somalia. We explore under what conditions young adults consider staying or migrating either internationally or internally in the face of fearing, perceiving or experiencing violence and conflict. In short, when you say "At the heart of this region, the United Nations Agency for Palestine Refugees – UNRWA – is a stabilizing force. In Gaza, the Agency is the backbone of the humanitarian operation, coordinating and providing lifesaving assistance. Beyond Gaza, it has championed human development for Palestine Refugees for decades across the region." NOTHING could be further from the truth. In your "stabilization" you assisted Hamas, provided facilities, allowed workers (at best) to moonlight as terrorists, and did nothing to stop their atrocities, be they against their own 'citizens' or against ours, on 7.10, and against the people that are still being held against their will in the heart of Gaza. Humanitarian? Lifesaving? Are you really going to stand by those claims???? If by "human development for Palestine Refugees" you mean ensuring that they NEVER move beyond refugee status, and dooming their descendants to refugee status for eternity, then yes, that's exactly what you have done. Mission accomplished! There is no doubt that #unrwa needs to be dismantled, for it is part of the problem, NOT the solution. #future #hope #poverty #standwithisrael #amyisraelchai

yes UNRWA, let's talk about the refugee status of millions of second, third, and fourth generation Palestinians... let's talk about how UNRWA demands a budget half that of the UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, even though the UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency's mandate covers the entire world, and yours' is just refugees from 2 wars that ended half a century ago. let's talk about how UNRWA inexplicably has a different definition of Refugee than the rest if the world let's talk about how you keep millions of Palestinians in Refugee camps that are really cities, depriving them of citizenship and opportunities let's talk about your total lack of efforts to resettle Refugees, desiring more to profit off their status rather than to help them let's talk about how the number of refugees that you claim to represent inexplicably grows annually, 50 years after the war they were refugees from let's talk about how you infantalize Palestinians by running all the agencies and institutions that they should be running let's talk about how you pay your workers less than the UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency and nearly every other agency pays let's talk about how you promote a unrealistic right of return, something that exists no where else on the planet, and a right that promotes intransigence and conflict rather than peace
