Delighted to announce the success of our recent presentation at IIT Madras! ✨ As finalists - Product Construct, we're thrilled to have received a special mention from Honda judges. Our team, Product Explorers, comprised of me, Shashank Shetty and Akshaya A.R , had the honor of presenting our deck to the esteemed Honda judges. A heartfelt thank you goes out to Beethika Tripathi for her invaluable mentorship support on this specific problem statement. Our problem statement revolved around the shortcomings of the current driving license testing system in India. Our goal was to introduce a low-cost digital solutions to revolutionize the process and ensure higher testing standards. To pinpoint problems, our approach involved thorough #userresearch, market analysis, and quantitative studies, complemented by the insightful technique of the 5 Whys for deeper problem understanding. Huge appreciation to the volunteers whose input enriched our user research efforts. Navigating the solution brainstorming phase proved challenging, as we were flooded with numerous ideas. Nonetheless, our primary emphasis remained on prioritizing solutions that were not only cost-effective and scalable but also practical, with a focus on assessing impact versus implementation efforts. Key takeaway: Mastering product discovery demands a fusion of user empathy and inventive problem-solving skills. It's imperative to set aside biases and center efforts on addressing user needs effectively. The E-summit 2024 at IIT Madras E-Cell IIT Madras was an enriching learning experience, and I eagerly anticipate more exciting opportunities ahead. 🚀 Flashback to 2009: Launching India's First Robotic Lab at DAV Public School, Velachery! 🤖 In 2009, we achieved a monumental milestone by setting up India's first robotic lab in a school at DAV Public School, Velachery. This groundbreaking initiative allowed students to showcase unique robots they created, sparking their imagination and engineering skills. 🌟 DAV Public School and its principal, Mrs. Minoo Agarwal has always been an early supporter of innovative STEM education, playing a crucial role in bringing transformative tools to the market. Their forward-thinking approach set a precedent for integrating hands-on learning experiences into the curriculum, fostering a new generation of tech-savvy problem solvers. Not just the Robotics Lab, but the Robo Olympics competition had been sponsored by them. Our First World Robot Olympiad trip was also courtesy of DAV Public School, Velachery. Even before the National Education Policy (NEP) urged schools to embrace such advancements, we were already paving the way for a future-ready education system. Our commitment to enhancing learning experiences through robotics and STEM education has inspired many and continues to drive our mission.
