I really wanted to know what members of the Osage Tribe had to say about the movie, ‘Killers of the Flower Moon’. My friend, Hepsi Barnett, former Chief of Staff of the Osage Nation and former staff member of the Osage Government Reform Commission that created an entirely new landmark constitution and system of government in 2006, speaks to the film in which parts of it were filmed in her late beautiful mothers’ back yard. All speak about the film, its impact and share the truth in all its complexities. In conclusion, as stated by Wilson Pipestem, Attorney, American Indian Law and Osage Headright Owner, he sees it as a film “from us and for us’. Includes some other critical analysis.
