Davenport Community Schools’ Post

Celebrating our student successes is one of our favorite things to do! Have you heard of Cory's Produce? A Davenport West High School student isn't just excelling in his studies but has also made a significant mark in our community with his entrepreneurial spirit. Cory Carter started his own fresh produce stand at the age of 13. What started as a passion project has flourished into a thriving small business, celebrating its fifth successful year of providing locally-grown produce to our community. At DCSD, Cory is known for always having his cowboy hat on and now his produce has made a name for itself in our community. We're proud to see how far his hard work has brought him.
