Connecting with fellow procurement professionals last week in Paris was an exciting experience. The insights and energy shared during our meeting were encouraging and inspiring. Our meeting was a testament to the power of collaboration and knowledge sharing. We exchanged insights on best practices, overcame challenges together, and explored innovative solutions to drive procurement excellence. My key takeaways: 1.     The importance of strategic partnerships among procurement professionals and supplier relationships. The work Hulo is doing in this space is indeed inspiring. 2.     Technology has the transformative power to streamline all procurement thematic areas and embed digital solutions to improve support for people in need. This is an exciting time for us as we embrace these changes. 3.     The impact of sustainability and social responsibility on procurement decisions. It's great to see how the WREC Coalition is changing the narrative of green response. Marie, your contributions to this Community of Practice are truly commendable. I'm grateful for the opportunity to connect with such a talented and dedicated professional. Let's continue to support each other and drive for excellence in procurement, serving humanity and those in need.

With San Marino becoming the 49th country to join the EHEA, as per Ministers' decision in the Rome 2020 EHEA Ministerial Conference, the Working Group Roadmap for San Marino's accession to the EHEA was adopted by the BFUG meeting in Porto, Portugal in April 2021 with the purpose to support San Marino in its implementation of the Roadmap and advise the BFUG and Board on the implementation and any further support measures recommended. The Work Plan builds on timelines of the Roadmap and on the implementation plans of the Sammarinese authorities. #SAARC summit likely to be held in June 2024 SAARC stands for the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation. It is an intergovernmental organization comprising eight South Asian countries, established in December 1985. The member countries include: Afghanistan Bangladesh Bhutan India Maldives Nepal Pakistan Sri Lanka SAARC aims to promote economic and regional integration, foster cooperation in various sectors such as agriculture, trade, investment, technology, and culture, and enhance the welfare and quality of life of the people in the South Asian region. The organization provides a platform for member countries to engage in dialogue, address common challenges, and collaborate on regional development initiatives.
