David Hackett Speaks at UN on Sustainability On July 17, 2019, David Hackett presented at the UN’s sustainability conference in New York. As part of the Ministerial segment of the High-level Political Forum (HLPF), the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UNDESA) and the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (“WBCSD”) held a joint conference entitled: “Lead, Transform, Succeed: Chief Sustainability Officers for SDGs.” David spoke on a panel, “Collaboration for SDG Impact” with senior company officials from multinationals regarding business efforts to advance the UN Sustainability Development Goals (“SDGs”). Among other things, he addressed Baker McKenzie’s leadership role in seeking to advance the Principle 16 priorities involving Peace, Justice and the Rule of Law.
