📢 The #MilestoneReport on GLocalFlex’s overarching BUCs & KPIs is now available! Our partners at TECNALIA Research & Innovation, CTIC Centro Tecnológico and VTT worked closely with all six pilot sites to produce this report. It details a common framework for: ✅ Business Use Cases (BUCs) that will be considered within GLocalFlex. ✅ Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) used to evaluate project performance. The GLocalFlex project aims to drive demand-response by introducing a novel energy flexibility marketplace, enabling consumers of all sizes to contribute their flexibility. The GLocalFlex marketplace will be demonstrated in six different pilots across Europe. These pilots will involve different types of flexibility providers, in various countries with diverse weather and geographical conditions. The goal is to understand how the marketplace operates under a wide range of real-world conditions. The particular applications in the various pilots are described through pilot specific BUCs and this document presents an overarching framework for the analysis of the BUCs to be deployed by the different GLocalFlex pilots. Starting with the BUC definitions from each of the six pilots, common elements were explored to identify overarching BUCs that cover all the scopes selected by the pilots.
