Per my post last week, I’m a believer in Rivian. I’m only more of a believer after test driving the R1T. Two things to note in this video from the demo drive: 1. The Rivian flagship in Austin is stunning. 2. The attention the detail in the car is unreal. From the compartment and doors under the bed to the drain plugs in the frunk and spare tire area, they did not miss with this vehicle. I’ve been a fan of the Cybertruck since before the release, and I can now confidently say, the R1 blows the doors of the Cybertruck. Beyond the vehicle, my favorite part of the afternoon with Rivian was the multiple times about the collaboration with Tesla or “we’re grateful for them because they went first.” He couldn’t be more right. We don’t do electrification alone. One final thing. Rivian, Tesla, and folks like SWTCH are all working different thesises in charging. Rivian has the adventurous chargers. I don't understand how hundreds maybe thousands of customers internet and tv service is down but cannot get an answer from ATT as to why nor an estimate as to when it will be resolved. Your front line technicians do not have a clue. We had one to come out and tell us the only recourse is to change service provider. When someone from management, a network manger, did reach out, we only got a bunch of lip service as as to he would make sure the problem was resolved to now its been escalated to upper management and there is nothing more he can do. Pathetic! So since this has been ongoing for weeks, I guess our only recourse as one of your techs advised is to change service provider. ATT, prime example of too big to fail...

Great step into the future AT&T This will definitely be a great option for work location stored vehicles, and although will be a large upfront investment will be great for light weight mobility, IHX sales and management. These EV’s really do look futuristic as far as how smooth the exterior, and the design of the front in. I also believe that the full height size vans are really the best option for maximizing inventory for field use and protecting technicians from elements. (Image is a mock-up) I know these is a pilot program, and really does have a lot of potential. What a great first stepping stone into future progress. Let’s be I’m honest with ourselves, whether we are in love with our awesome carbon fuel trucks or not, this will be the future regardless. Rivian raises the bar with their all new second generation R1S and R1T fleet. With an increase in advanced technology, new experiences, designs, efficiency, and sustainability, Rivian is well on its way to continually providing exceptional electric vehicles. Rivian CEO and founder, RJ Scaringe stated, “We continue to evolve our flagship R1 vehicles, offering quality and performance without compromise. Our revamped R1S and R1T push the technical boundaries further, creating our most capable products to date.” With an attractive 0-60 mph in less than 2.5 seconds, to a 420 mile range battery, these vehicles are quite the performers. What’s so much better about the second generation compared to the first one? At Rivian, they are all about reducing carbon emissions. “Based on comprehensive lifecycle carbon footprint assessments, these vehicles achieve a 15% lower standard lifetime carbon footprint than the first generation R1 platform, thanks largely to manufacturing and operating efficiencies and improvements in our materials supply chain.” Lastly, a newly developed autonomy system ranks number one for me with the second generation models. “It is powered by 11 cameras, five radars, and AI prediction technology.
