📐 Vector Search Optimization via KMeans, Voronoi Cells and Inverted File Index (aka “Cell-Probing”). I had quite a lot of fun 🤩 understanding how to improve vector search without impacting OLTP performances. 😯 As usual, a divide-and-conquer plus low-friction provisioning offered by containers to spin up a compute node was the solution. 🚀 Here's what I did, so that you can do it too, no matter which version of #SQLServer or #AzureSQL you are using. It is fun, you learn a lot and it is practical. The article also shows quite clearly all the reasons why *I love* 😍 being a developer: lateral thinking, creativity, and engineering all together. Fantastic! 💪
