Being SEEN in the online space comes with a whole lot of inner gremlins, am I right? Who am I to do this? Who am I to speak my truth? Maybe I should wait until I know more information, or have more testimonials. What will Susan from 3rd grade think? What if no one buys? What if I mess up? What if I…. The list goes on and on, right? I showed up for years in the online space before hitting multiple six figures. I’m talking: protein shake selfies, zero people buying my stuff, no one in my launches, cringeworthy fb lives, a group with zero engagement, just my mom on my live video, crickets during challenges, failed payments, overdraft bank account, debt on debt, 5 people on my email list, attempting to make a graphic picmonkey, going through a list sending dm’s (eek) lol. I branded a business with my ex which cost me thousands of dollars when relaunching. I’ve invested tens of thousands of dollars before I was even making close to that. I racked my brain when I thought I was doing “everything right” Wanna know what I did even when all of that happened? I kept going. I kept showing up. I tried new things. I kept hiring mentors. I didn’t make it mean I wasn’t a good coach or couldn’t be successful. I trusted. I did the healing & deep inner work. I invested in my craft. I believed so much in my vision. I started speaking my truth and becoming more vulnerable. I surrendered to the process and met it with love rather than the bitch why aren’t you there yet energy. So before you go thinking, maybe I can’t do this: ask yourself, have you truly went ALL In? What if your little person felt safe to be seen? What if someone bought from your gift? What if you spoke your truth and created a ripple in this world? What would happen if you just trusted & moved outside your comfort zone?

📑 Eviction Notice: 3 Years Ago Today I wasn’t planning on posting this, but it came up on my camera roll memories today so I wanted to share! 3 years ago today I received my last eviction notice! It’s probably one of the most humiliating things for a young man to go through, or anybody for that matter. Financial insecurity is tough, but I had already known it for a long time so I knew how to handle the stress, for the most part. If you feel stuck, this is for you. If you feel like you might not ever catch a break, this is for you. If you feel like people don’t understand your circumstances, this is for you. If you feel like people “like you” don’t break out of the chains, become successful, and do extraordinary things with their life, this is for you. Anyone from anywhere CAN succeed. Anyone CAN become financially stable and independent. Most won’t, even though they CAN, because coming from zero or less than zero, is a hard long road to financial abundance, but it is possible and available to all. It takes work. You have to learn sales. You have to learn marketing. You have to learn technology, social media, funnels, etc. to blow up your life and break out from the scarcity lifestyle of financial stress. Keep following my journey and I will show you every step of the way. This isn’t to shame or guilt trip anyone. But I am simply sharing it from my personal experience. The deepest pain in the life of any entrepreneur or a self employed person is to look back at the year and realise that… One more year is gone without progress. One more year has gone without the business truly making a difference or an impact. One more year has passed and nothing in your money reality or revenue has shifted. Or worse gone down. And this happened, as we discover in hindsight, “because we waited for the right time to take the action that was imperative.” So many of us believe in the concept of “right time.” We think that circumstances will turn in our favour, and we can then safely call it Divine Timing. But then divine timing is only divine when it is preceded by a choice. And making a choice is often discomforting. Thus, for divinity to begin, we must be willing to step out and ask: how would I like to look back at a year from today? And how would I like to feel then? Versus the discomfort I am feeling now about making this choice, albeit not making in truth. Making a decision and not making a decision both has a price to it. Material and immaterial - both. 🌟 Hey Everyone! What’s Up? 🌟 I hope this message finds you all in great spirits! Can you believe it’s almost the end of the first quarter of 2024 already? Time truly flies! Every year, I set myself some goals to achieve, but like many of us, inconsistency has been a challenge in the past. This year, however, I’m thrilled to share that I've been able to stay consistent and make progress towards my goals. It’s been an incredible journey so far, with almost 90 days of consistent effort! Here are the goals I've been focusing on: 1️⃣ Maintain personal finances 2️⃣ Prioritize health and fitness 3️⃣ Explore new things 4️⃣ Overcome bad habits 5️⃣ Upskill myself every day 6️⃣ Read at least two pages of a book every day In this post, I want to share with you some simple tricks that have helped me maintain consistency: 1️⃣ Minimize Your Goals: When feeling unmotivated, I’ve found success in breaking down my goals into smaller, more manageable tasks. For instance, if I planned to read 10 pages a day, I'd start with just 2 pages. Once I got started, I often found myself exceeding my initial target. 2️⃣ The Two-Day Rule: I adhere to a simple rule – never skip a goal for more than two consecutive days. It's amazing how this small commitment can make a big difference in consistency. These techniques have truly been game-changers for me, and I hope they can help you too! I wanted to take some time this weekend to share these insights with all of you. NO MATTER WHAT GOALS YOU'RE PURSUING IN 2024... Achieving them will involve a number of universal truths. Truth #1 — You Can’t Finish, What You Don’t Start. Truth #2 — Never Start What You’re Not Committed to Finish. In the spirit of telling it like it is… Here’s a short list of things which are never going to happen in your life. The sale will not close without asking for the order. You will never be accepted by a school to which you do not apply. No one will ever read the book that you do not write. You will never enjoy six-pack abs without diet and exercise. Binge watching Netflix will not make you better educated. You will not change your results, if you do not change your behavior. Quitting when the going gets tough will never lead to success. Money will never compound by sitting in your wallet. You will never become wiser by talking rather than listening. The moral? Hey fam! Alright, buckle up folks, because I've got a bit of a tale to tell. So, here's the scoop: I've been a bit of a ghost on this platform lately. Appearing and disappearing. It's not because I've lost interest or anything like that. No, no. Life just decided to throw me a curveball, or two, or three, and keeping up with everything has felt like trying to juggle flaming torches while riding a unicycle. Yeah, it's been that kind of ride. 😂 Don’t mind my vague expression with language. This post is quite informal. Picture this; my writings, my thoughts, my ideas, they've all been stuck in limbo, trapped in the confines of my trusty notepad, patiently awaiting their moment in the spotlight. But alas, that moment never seemed to come. It's like they were stuck in traffic on the highway to LinkedIn, and I was the frustrated driver honking my horn and yelling at the universe to just let them through already. 🚗🚦 Now, let's talk about consistency. Or should I say, the lack thereof. Because let's face it, my consistency in March has been like the weather. One minute it's sunny and clear, the next it's pouring rain and you're scrambling for an umbrella. Yep, that's been me, riding the inconsistency train straight into the station of, well, inconsistency. Inconsistency isn't just about not showing up. No, no. It's a whole other level of mind-bending paradox. You see, you have to be consistent to be inconsistent. One must consistently not show up to be labeled inconsistent, yet consistency itself is essential for both consistency and inconsistency. Both concepts are deeply ingrained in our consciousness. Wrap your head around that one for a minute. ♻️🤯 This is the last stretch of March. And I've made a decision. I'm dusting off my keyboard, cracking my knuckles, and running headfirst back to LinkedIn. For me, this place is more than a social network, it's a community. A place where I can put out ideas, spark conversations, and make connections. So to my LinkedIn fam, old and new, I say this, I'm back. And I'm ready to make up for lost time. Let's pick up where we left off, shall we? Let's swap stories, share insights, and maybe even crack a few jokes along the way. Because life's too short to take too seriously, am I right?
