At New Balance we celebrate our athletes, support running culture and runners at every level.
Now, when the World Athletic Championships are over, I am happy to say that weeks of preparations and 10 days of extensive, on-the-ground work resulted in an amazing experience for our athletes, their families and our special guests we had the honor to host.
I wanted to say Thank You:
A/ to our Global and EMEA Team for the support, especially:
Ali Wilkinson, Peter Riley and entire Sports Marketing Team for your engagement and always on-point feedback - without you, this project would not have happened.
Day Maguire and Jodie Clarke Clark for helping us elevate brand presence at our activation zones and bring the silhouettes of our athletes closer to the sports fans through extensive OOH campaigns.
B/ my incredible CEE team for the commitment:
Franek Romański for looking after many areas: especially our athletes and for kicking off a new chapter of New Balance Run Club Budapest - a welcoming community where you can run with new people, forging friendships as you pound the pavements. The attendance of participants exceeded our expectations!
Marcin Mikusek for an amazing PR and media exposure
Marcin Pitala for taking great care of all our guests
Filip Remian for a successful WRPD launch event at Footshop
Miłosz Krywański for taking care of our digital presence
A very special Thank You to:
Martyna Szabadi and @Krisztina Kárpáti from Saute Couture - our amazing PR agency that makes the impossible possible.
Katarzyna Gos and Patrycja Jaczewska from agencja Plej for creating and executing an on-brand, premium experience for running fans and our guests.
Simon Freeman and Julie Freeman from Like the Wind to help us create Run Your Way magazine - Budapest edition.
Barbora Dušíková from the Ritz Carlton, for making us feel at home.
Martin Kluka and Viktor Švamberk for Footshop.
Team Bieganie.pl - Adam Kszczot, Joanna Jóźwik, Wojciech Walszczyński, Katarzyna Zawistowska for participating in our activations and bringing the subject of athletics closer to the fans of this sport in Poland.
Congratulations to all medalists!
