LSEG has delivered another quarter of strong, broad-based growth in Q3, with growth across all divisions. As we look towards the end of year, I am confident that our full year growth will be toward the upper end of our 6-8% guidance range. I’m proud of the great work our people are doing to transform our business and deliver compelling solutions for our customers.

LSEG delivered strong, broad-based growth in the first half of 2023. Data & Analytics is growing faster than it has for many years, Post Trade once again demonstrated the critical role it plays in helping customers manage risk and our Capital Markets businesses also made progress.     LSEG’s transformation is well underway and we’ve made a great start with the Microsoft partnership, with hundreds of people building product together.     It’s a great position to be in as we look ahead.

It was a pleasure to discuss the key issues impacting trade alongside Ambassador Katherine Tai, Minister Dukgeun Ahn, and Veronica Nilsson at the World Economic Forum. The theme of this year’s program is “cooperation in a fragmented world.” Session themes have ranged from technology innovation to resilience and energy – all topics central to LSEG and our mission as a leading financial markets infrastructure and data provider, with the purpose of driving financial stability, empowering economies and enabling customers to create sustainable growth. Today, I spoke about the potential of digital trade – and the action the G7 should take to create multilateral cross-sector approach on digital governance. Today we announced the acquisition of Global Data Consortium Inc, a business that specialises in delivering real-time electronic digital identity verification. I’m delighted to welcome co-founders Bill Spruill and Charles Gaddy to LSEG. They have built a great business that will add to our capabilities in this space, helping customers to verify digital identity and protect against fraud globally.
