The DfE's updated RSHE guidance restricts the teaching of gender identity, which undoubtedly negatively impacts trans pupils by limiting their access to affirming content and unecessarily increasing feelings of isolation. These changes will leave teachers less equipped to address gender-related issues sensitively, creating challenges in maintaining inclusive classrooms. The guidance conflicts with legal obligations to ensure non-discrimination and inclusive education, marginalising trans students by not fully addressing their needs and identities PLEASE respond to this review if you care about inclusivity #NoOutsiders
We are encouraging our members to respond to the DfE's Review of the RSHE statutory guidance. The deadline to submit is the 11th July. Review the guidance here: https://lnkd.in/evYUTdmh

Our faculty emphasizes that an optional subject should align with General Studies, enhancing preparation and practical knowledge. Public administration, akin to government administration, provides insights into Indian governance and offers an edge during training and professional work as a civil servant. This subject encompasses theories, concepts, and managerial skills essential for public administrators, making it a vital component of the civil service exam and beyond.
