Congratulations to Joseph on his promotion to Civil Engineering Regional Manager! Joseph has over a decade of experience and quickly began to meet the needs of each client. His deep knowledge of the industry has prepared him for this role, and we are excited to see what the future holds! As a regional manager, Joseph will provide strategic leadership and direction for civil engineering operations within a designated geographic region. This role involves overseeing multiple civil engineering project teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives. Congratulations, Joseph!

Congratulations to Kyle on becoming a Registered Interior Designer. Kyle has always had an interest in creating beautiful spaces using essential and decorative items, such as colors, lighting, and materials. We are proud of Kyle for extending his knowledge and are excited to have him share his skills with future clients.

WE’RE EXPANDING! We are thrilled to announce that DDG is expanding our operations with a new office in Mississippi! DDG now has 8 locations across the Gulf South. The Mississippi office will be led by Kevin Yates, PE. Kevin brings a wealth of experience in the Mississippi public works arena and has established a proven track record of successful project delivery leveraging long-term relationships in the region. Will Krosp, PE, a tenured DDG team member, will serve as the Senior Project Manager and Technical Lead. We are eager to explore this market further by collaborating, planning, designing, and managing solutions that enhance the Mississippi community.

Project Spotlight: Lafourche Parish Community Center DDG was contracted by Lafourche Parish Government for full architectural design and site civil to design a 15,000 SF community and recreation center. The main gym space accommodates volleyball and basketball with seating for 300 people. In a cross court arrangement there is two volleyball courts with seating for 150 people and two practice basketball courts. A full service catering kitchen was also provided, and the structure has emergency power to run the entire facility. The center is able to handle local club meetings as well. This project was funded by the Louisiana Recovery Authority as a result of Hurricane Gustav.

Congratulations to Kainen for 20 years of dedicated service at DDG! He started as an intern in 2002 and was hired full-time as an Assistant Project Manager in 2004. Thanks to his work ethic and unwavering commitment, he now serves as DDG's Chief Administrative Officer. Kainen exemplifies the potential for growth at our firm, and we are truly grateful for everything he has done and continues to do for DDG!
