Leaders, here are few actions we can take now: 1️⃣ The first step to #equalpay is to come armed with data. Work with your HR professionals to look across the organization and markets for areas that can be improved and then methodically work to improve them. (For all you VCs/PEs out there... Be on the look out for ways to recommend the brilliant women in your circle for higher profile opportunities that could propel their career.

Certainly the most powerful session of the day was Women of Fintech. Fintech has an even bigger gender problem than banking which isn't a particularly high bar. The panel - moderated by Lucy Heavens including Tiffany Appiah, Alexandra C. Caroline Ericsson and Nitika Vyas, CFA - tackled issues like needing to act like men to climb higher within a company, why women, especially women of colour remain underrepresented, and how, with allies both male and female, the tide is starting to turn. The majority of executive positions in the fintech industry in Poland belong to men. However, ladies are becoming increasingly successful in IT. 💼 This is evidenced by Cashless current ranking of the most influential women in the payments industry 2024. It has been promoting professional equality, diversity and the attractiveness of the sector for six years now. 💪 We hope to increase the percentage of women in senior and leadership roles in the fintech industry.
