🚲 Decathlon Belgium steunt de actie '30 Dagen Minder Wagen' en roept al zijn klanten, medewerkers en fans op om komende maand hun auto wat vaker te laten staan. Als sportbedrijf vinden wij eco-mobiliteit belangrijk en dus is dit initiatief eentje dat we alleen maar kunnen toejuichen 😊 . Kun jij een maand lang minder vaak in je auto stappen? Bij Decathlon houden we wel van een uitdaging. En van frisse lucht natuurlijk. 30 Dagen Minder Wagen is een campagne van het Netwerk Duurzame Mobiliteit. Het netwerk staat klaar om je te helpen met massa’s tips & trucs die het gemakkelijker maken om die wagen een maandje te laten staan. Bovendien kan je via een korte enquête aan het eind van de rit laten weten hoe jouw persoonlijke maand met minder wagen verliep, en wat het effect was van dat autominderen op jouw dagelijkse leven. Jouw feedback en die van duizenden andere deelnemers wordt ten slotte verwerkt in een helder rapport waarmee politici straks hun mobiliteitsbeleid nog duurzamer en toekomstbestendig kunnen maken. ALL OR NOTHING 🏅 Le 28 avril dernier à Hambourg, notre collègue PAQUET AMAURY s’attaquait à son rêve : une qualification pour les Jeux olympiques sur marathon. Nous l’avons suivi dans son parcours, chargé en émotions, jusqu’au KM 28. “C’était tout ou rien aujourd’hui. All or nothing. Malheureusement, ça a été rien. J’ai échoué mais je ne regrette rien. Je suis fier d’avoir essayé en tout cas.” DREAM BIG AND DARE TO FAIL* 💪 (*Rêver grand et oser échouer) Nous serons toujours fiers de toi, Amaury 💙 __ Op zondag 28 april ging onze collega PAQUET AMAURY in Hamburg volop voor zijn absolute droom: kwalificatie voor de marathon op de Olympische Spelen in Parijs. Hiervoor moest hij een tijd van 2 uur, 8 minuten en 8 seconden (of minder) lopen. Wij volgden Amaury tijdens zijn voorbereiding en op de grote dag zelf. En dat werd een dag boordevol emoties. Zijn droom eindigde jammer genoeg na 28 kilometer. “Het was alles of niets vandaag. All or nothing. Jammer genoeg is het niets geworden. Ik heb gefaald, maar heb nergens spijt van. Ik ben trots dat ik het geprobeerd heb.” DREAM BIG AND DARE TO FAIL. 💪 Ook wij zijn trots op jou, Amaury! 💙

Green Deal & Decathlon Belgium: Promoting Biodiversity Biodiversity is becoming an increasingly important focus in our sustainability strategies. At Decathlon Belgium, we're proud to be part of a working group with colleagues from Spain, India, and Belgium, pioneering efforts to enhance biodiversity at our sites. This year, we’re investing €15,000 per site in Maasmechelen, Namur, and Mons to explore the first steps in lowering our biodiversity impact, locally. Thanks to the Green Deal, we will share our knowledge with other partners, learn new insights, and expand our network. This collaboration involves eighty companies, developers, local governments, and schools, all participating in the Green Deal for Nature-Inclusive Parking Lots. Their shared ambition is to transform traditional parking lots into areas that boost biodiversity. Over the next three years, participants will engage in a learning network of webinars, info days, and 'Communities of Practice' to tackle challenges and share inspiration.
