We’re excited to announce a collaboration with one of the world’s premier research centers for rheumatoid #arthritis (RA), the Leeds Institute of Rheumatic and Musculoskeletal Medicine (LIRMM). We’re excited to announce the selection of our first development candidate, DC-9476. DC-9476 is a third generation BRD inhibitor that is selective for the BD2 domain of Brd4, which is expected to enter clinical trials in 2025. The novel candidate was discovered using DeepCure’s proprietary AI platform by exploiting differences in the structure and function among the BET protein family and the two bromodomains (BD1 and BD2). “We’re excited to announce our first AI-generated candidate, which we plan to advance into clinical trials next year. DeepCure team is excited to welcome @MiJeong (MJ) Kim, to our Discovery team, in our Boston Based office! With a passion for developing medicines for patients in need, MJ joined DeepCure as our new Director of Immunology. MJ brings years of drug discovery experience in preclinical and clinical settings, with focus on immunology. Prior to DeepCure, MJ was a Director of Immunology at Homology Medicines inc. where she spearheaded translational immunology efforts to support clinical trials and develop the next generation of genetic medicine.
