if you know, you know jensen NVIDIA morris TSMC 1987 founded at the age of 55 pure play foundry. taiwan gov and Philips Lighting funded it to begin with 6 billys in 1997 valuation 2nd to only Intel Corporation most valuable company in taiwan created fabless, 50 billy in revenue 250 billys in shareholder valued over 20 years. morris is a bridge player like billy gates and warren buffet. so the games begin. how did you do it? 220 millys in '85 '86 48% taiwan gov 27% phillps 5% 12 taiwanese investors 1st phase was survival 2nd rapid growth values in the beginning. 1/ integrity 2/ commitment: company-customers 3/ innovation, constantly vision changed. values don't change. rapid emergence of fabless companies.
