I'm hearing that the VA is on a hiring freeze? I'm a veteran and would love to transition into the VA.

A great cover letter can set you apart and grab the recruiter’s attention. Here are some tips on how to craft your cover letter: https://vacareers.va.gov/job-news-advice/how-to-captivate-recruiter-with-surefire-cover-letter/

I have found out, even by looking at the resumes of my peers, that applicants may not be paying close attention to the VA’s specifics regarding their application submission. I was guilty of that in the beginning as well. When I redid my resume and, uniformly listed my employment history to include all the places I worked and dates of employment, hours worked and rate, Supervisors names and contact numbers; this made the difference. No matter how fancy your resume may be, without these pertinent information; it could probably get set aside. I am not a resume expert, I am only sharing the ‘prerequisites’ I followed when I submitted my VA resume.

I have reapplied, however I have not received an acceptance letter. Questions how much long should it be before I get a replied. I believe it was a funding issue. Now that a new physical year has stared. The position was for a PC Tech in Tampa, Florida
