Astral Resources NL (ASX:AAR) managing director Marc Ducler sits down with Jonathan Jackson to discuss results from the Kamperman prospect within the Feysville Gold Project in Western Australia. The recent 19-hole reverse circulation (RC) drilling program has in-filled the prospect to the south but also extended the mineralised strike by 100 metres to the north, now measuring a total of 350 metres. Key assays from this campaign have highlighted significant gold finds, with intersections including 13 metres at 3.95 g/t #gold from 35 metres depth, showcasing the high-grade potential of this site. Of the 19 holes drilled, 14 have encountered noteworthy gold mineralisation, affirming the Kamperman prospect's potential as a high-grade satellite ore source for the contemplated Mandilla Process Plant. Critical Minerals in Permian Basin cuttings, not fluids but cuttings At a talk at the URTeC24 Conference yesterday, Stanford University had been given cuttings to 4 wells in the Permian Basin to evaluate for Critical Minerals. Locations and stratigraphic ages were not given but generally the depths were 6,000 to 12,000 feet as I understood. There was no knowledge of whether they were reservoir or non-reservoir cuttings. I believe they just had cuttings and depths. The conclusion was Barium, Vanadium and Titanium was the most abundant – all were increasing with depth. Located 75 km east of Timmins, Ontario, this promising area has shown significant near-surface bulk tonnage potential. Key Highlights: -2022 Discovery: 136 meters at 0.54 g/t gold, including 62.8 meters at 0.79 g/t gold. -2023 Expansion: Strike length doubled to 525 meters and the zone expanded to 200 meters wide. Notable drill results include 27.6 meters at 0.96 g/t gold. Geological Context: -Host Rock: Silicified mafic variolitic volcanics with pyritic veinlets. -Regional Similarities: Shares characteristics with nearby deposits like Mayfair Gold's Fenn-Gib and Moneta Gold's Tower Gold.
