A healthy crop begins bottom-up because you must have nourishing soils in order to get yielding crops. When talking about cropping-suitable soil, the first thing that has always come to the Ag-industry's mind is fertilising. Years later, soil's physics was added up. But, from my viewpoint, Ag industry has largely overlooked what happens underneath farmers' feet, we haven't paid enough attention to the soil's microbe community. Microbial species are often grouped according to their ability to produce metabolites that help plants withstand stress. The seven considered substances are ACC (1-aminocyclopropane-1-carboxylate) deaminase, exopolysaccharide production, heavy metal solubilization, salt tolerance, siderophore production, salicylic acid, and abscisic acid. https://lnkd.in/d8AEiVdj
