This route runs over China and the plateaus of Tibet - the ‘roof of the world’ where the Himalayan peaks reach up to 5,000 meters and higher. ✈️ This challenging route requires special regulations for pilots, but it is an efficient way for DHL to lower emissions. With 6 flights per week, we save around 20 minutes per flight, saving 2,000kg of fuel and 6,000kg of CO2 per flight.
