ARE YOU LIKE ME? You love being around people. You love being busy. You love having purpose and fulfilling your objectives. BUT... You also crave quiet time. Alone time where you can just be with your thoughts. Or maybe not think about much at all. I grew up without internet, mobile phones, social media. So I know how to find my quiet time. Getting out in nature, yoga, reading, a bit of art here and there. In today's world, we're constantly bombarded with messages, notifications, news feeds, chats that we feel we can't miss out on...FOMO and all that. Technology is changing humanity, certainly as I used to know it. Don't get me wrong, it has its good sides, its amazing benefits. I just feel it's really important for everyone to be able to find their downtime, to tap into their existence without the constant spewing forth of 'noise.' Today, challenge yourself to take a break (without your phone) and seek out a bit of quiet. It doesn't matter where, as long as you can just 'be' for a while. Are you like me? How will you find your 'quiet' today', even if it's just for ten minutes? #quiettime #sharedgoals #woodwardrecruitment
I’m just like you Di Woodward. Having been in sales for 45 years this year, I’m constantly dealing with people either face to face, via email or online and I love it. I love my downtime also in the evening and weekends and reading is my favourite escape! Love being outdoors too, on a coastal walk or in the woods 😁🌳☀️
Di Woodward You could have been describing me! (except for the art maybe, no one needs to see that, me included! 😂) Mine is reading at the moment, snuggling up on the sofa, haven't done enough of this for the past year.
By being out with Fynn for a walk down the lane and across the fields. Lots of thinking time…. Great photo.
I spent the whole Christmas period on my own, mainly my choice - some down time desperately required and I now hate the time of year, bad memories. The break gave me time to myself for thought, meditation & self love
Yup… I’m like you 😀

7moIt’s a difficult time of year where the expectations are so high if you have experienced something very difficult, I completely understand I’m trying to spend some time in the sunshine, even 10 minutes, to help while we’ve got it …I hope it’s a tonic in some way for you ✨
