Most brands want to “Reach the Gen Z audience” but very few are willing to adjust their ad content strategies to successfully convert them. 🤦♂️ 🎨 The art of storytelling has changed in this new media landscape. Gone are the days where you have 1 min+ to create a narrative around your brand in a high production TVC. Gen Z don’t want to see that. They want value. Aka “why should I invest 15s of my day to watch your video…” 📢 It’s key to focus on what value your content brings to the user and then think how your product or service can benefit them with a clear CTA. Great example from Rise Festival selling the experience. He met with Amplify’s Head of Strategy Culture and Comms Sophy Vanner Critoph, to discuss how the agency continues to focus on connecting people, brands and culture against a rapidly changing media and marketing landscape. Commenting on getting it right while marketing is moving so fast, Sophy said: “For us, it’s always been wonderful that our DNA is about connecting people, brands and culture. We are not specifically stuck in a channel or a specific vertical. Everything we do is about getting to know real people, knowing what they love, what they hate, and how they spend their time.
