I've been in #Iceland this week at Climeworks, the newest, largest direct air capture #carbon removal plant in the world. The technology is fascinating, but the speed to scale is the real story here. The co-CEO, Jan Wurzbacher, told me that while the plant can operate for up to 25 years, he'd rather it not because R&D is already outdoing itself, making the next plant more efficient and cheaper. Climeworks is now in the U.S. working on a plant in Louisiana. Soon DAC will pop up all over the nation, making it potentially as common as #wind and #solar farms. There is an idea to sell carbon credits by depositing CO2 in the soil to increase the fertility of agricultural land. Memcoin sales. Purchase of cheap degraded agricultural land. rapid recovery with the use of innovative biotechnology developed by me increases organic matter in the soil by 11% per month. Leasing of restored plots of land. Payment of dividends to memcoin holders. in parallel, the sale of carbon credits for companies, governments and individuals. There are 2 billion hectares of soils in the world that are subject to degradation. This digitalization increases by 60 million hectares every year. even if it is $1 per 1 m3 of CO2 , it will be an unthinkable amount with 9 zeros . How do you like the idea?
How many tons of CO2 Diana Olick Starting 1979 we have removed by chemiesorption 90.000 t CO2 per year by Escher Wyss in inowroclaw No kidding us
