We're a fully remote org so you can live anywhere in the Americas. You'll need SaaS experience, a bonus if you have worked with large retail brands. This is not your typical ENT AE role: I need someone with deep technical acumen, who has strong executive presence, and who is coachable. [edit: this role is responsible for acquiring net new customers] 📌 Mid-Market Account Executive: This is our most dynamic segment, where you'll be working to consult with prospective customers as they continue to grow their e-commerce footprint. We do not sell to the SMB market and this is not an entry-level sales role. I am hiring for an Enterprise Account Executive role supporting our Los Angeles region, either in LA (remote) or Oakland (hybrid), CA. This specific role is responsible for an established territory with an active customer base and consistent net new pipeline. A few things to consider: 1. Selling to legal professionals is truly an experience like no other sales role. The internal workings of the client base and the work they do hits front page news every single day. You’ll be able to read about your deals on your preferred news site 2. Finding a recession-resistant role is a top priority for everyone. Our company and revenue growth is healthy and consistently up and to the right. I’m happy to share more details privately 3. Be an excellent salesperson on a team of excellent colleagues: everyone on this team is trending above quota, with most reps ranked in top 5 of the broader org 4. Our brand and network effect are worth more than any specific deal so every team member needs you to win and it will show in the support you receive 5. We actually do have the best product on the market so you’ll get to focus on building your business case instead of hedging on price 6. How do you land a VP Sales role with ~3 years of sales experience? Here’s what most hiring managers/founders would love to see: 1) Solved 1-2 significant challenges in previous roles 2) Can point to demonstrated team-building and unity 3) Obsessed with sales efficiency and how it promotes scale 4) Has strong opinions on the latest topics/big moves in industry 5) Know every emerging sales software e.g. Wiza, Lavender 💜, etc. Bonus: has/building a large network or personal brand, specifically here on LI. What else am I missing here?

New opportunity in NYC

According to Jason M. Lemkin a VP of Sales should be recruiting 50% of the time. I quote: "Real VPs know half their job is about hiring great people, at first maybe just a few, and then later, tons of them. 50% of the job of a real VP is recruiting" This is my absolute favorite part about being a GTM and sales leader, recruiting great people, people smarter than me, and empowering them. In the last 5 years, I've helped hundreds of customer success and sales rockstars accelerate their career. When you aren't directly hiring, recruiting is done passively through building relationships. It needs to be a win for the candidate and a win for the company, much like software sales needs to be a win for the client through ROI and you need to bring in the right client so they don't churn or take up too many resources internally. When we weren't growing as fast, this meant we weren't hiring as fast and evidently, I'd get bored. It took me years to figure this out.. but my absolute favorite part about being a sales leader is discovering, recruiting, hiring, and onboarding great talent from all over the world.
