What’s more, in order to foster more robust collaboration, it is necessary to first understand the existing relationship between both regions. ⤵️ Read this Critical Thinking article from Shameer Khanal, Cooperation Lead for ASEAN at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, for more. #EUASEANForum #EU #ASEAN #StrategicPartnership

Can't believe Israel would agree to this. There must be some sort of on the ground enforced patrolled presence by a3rd Party country. 1st step: • Complete ceasefire for 6 weeks. • Withdrawal of IDF forces from all populated areas in the Gaza Strip. • The return of Gazans to their homes in the north of the Gaza Strip. • The release of some of the Israeli abductees • Increasing assistance to 600 trucks per day. 2nd step: • The release of all the abductees, including soldiers. • The release of hundreds of Palestinian prisoners. 3rd step: • The release of all the bodies of the abductees. • The release of all the bodies of Palestinian forces. • The end of the war and the complete withdrawal of IDF forces from all over the Gaza Strip.

📆 Tomorrow, the leaders of the EU will meet in Brussels. These meetings of the European Council are normally routine affairs, but this time around nothing less than the future of Europe for decades to come is at stake. ↪️ Indeed, EU leaders need to decide on the next round of EU enlargement, the most complicated and difficult one thus far. It involves the fate of Ukraine, a country at war following the Russian invasion, as well as nine other candidate and aspirant countries, all of them in a delicate geostrategic situation. ↪️ Never before has it been so important that the EU makes this enlargement a success for it is also a historic opportunity to complete the unification of Europe, to anchor democracy across the continent, to enhance Europe’s security and defence against the dangers of a more confrontational global order and to make Europe a more powerful and influential actor on the world stage. ➡️ Yet as the EU moves forward it must avoid repeating the mistakes. ⤵️ Learn more in this Critical Thinking article by Trustees of Friends of Europe: Andris Piebalgs, Daniel Janssen, Sir Ciarán Devane, Etienne Davignon, Dalia Grybauskaite, Daniel Daianu, Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović, Stefan Fule and Yves Leterme. #CriticalThinking #EUCO #EUEnlargement
