I interrupt your feed & my valuable posts 😉, with 2 messages. Unfortunately we lost a dog unexpectedly & a cat expectedly (due to age) within a week. And as I reflect on this, it is a daily reminder to cherish those close to you, human or animal. The first 1️⃣ "Live your life like a dog" - I specifically say this because they cherish every second. You go upstairs and then come back down, they greet you with excitement, having not seen you for 30 seconds. You go out for hours and they jump all over you and smother you with love like they met you for the first time. They truly embrace life and you! The second 2️⃣ "Cherish the ones who look after you & show you true love." Because animals do just this, love you more than you know and treat you like a queen or king. So with that being said as a reality check reminder, here's some questions for you. - How often do you kiss or hug your child, partner, animal or family member goodbye ? - How often do you tell them you love them ? (yes you can do this with an animal, I do!) - How often do you find yourself telling them to go away or leave you alone ? Just a few deep thoughts that translate to every area of your life where you have someone who loves and cherishes you. Have a top day 🔥.

My dogs are one of the most important parts of my life. Want to be better? Then be more like your dog. 😍 🐕 1. Always trust your instinct. If something is telling you something isn’t right, then listen to it. 2. Love unconditionally without trying to figure out why. When dogs love, they love without questioning it. They give it 110% and don’t spend their time trying to decipher or complicate things. They just love, love, love. 3. Learn to forgive even what seems unforgivable. Forgiveness is one of the hardest things. Don’t hold grudges. If we are playing and I accidentally tread on his paw, he forgives me. 4. Stare down the food you want until it’s shared with you. This is a given and a necessary skill we should all have. 5. Be a loyal and devoted friend. There is no loyalty that rivals the loyalty of a dog. 6. Play, play, play Dogs live in the moment and are mindful. Dogs just want to have fun - all the time. We should do more of the same. 7. Be aware of the feelings of those around you. Dogs pick up on how we’re feeling. Stop being wrapped up in yourself and notice how others are feeling and show your support. 8. Let yourself go when you see someone you love. Show your excitement and be responsive and exuberant. Model yourself on your mutt and be more like your dog.
