🙌 Gratitude Overflowing 🙌 Last week was one for the books. A rollercoaster of emotions, challenges, and unexpected turns. But amidst it all, there was a shining beacon of support, dedication, and teamwork that I simply can't overlook. As many of you know, running a recruitment business comes with its own set of hurdles. And when life throws you a curveball, it's easy to feel like you're juggling more than you can handle. Last week, I found myself in precisely that situation. My 1-year-old toddler was unexpectedly admitted to the hospital, and on top of that, we were in the middle of a house move. 😰 In those moments, the instinct to control everything can be overwhelming. But here's where the magic truly unfolded. I had no choice but to let go, to trust in the incredible team that stands behind this business. And let me tell you, they didn't just step up—they soared. 🚀 To the amazing individuals who make up our team, I want to express my deepest appreciation. Your resilience, your dedication, and your unwavering support during such a challenging time were nothing short of extraordinary. From going above and beyond in managing client relations to ensuring our candidates were guided through the process seamlessly, you showed up in ways I couldn't have imagined. Together, we accomplished something remarkable. Despite the personal challenges I was facing, we managed to place 23 new workers into roles during that time. John Sanders always used to say, "do not make assumptions that people will not be in the office because of the holidays." Don't make excuses to not pick up the phone and dial. When they answer do not spew how you, or your company can make a difference in their work. BE A HUMAN, have a conversation with them. Find out what "tradition" they caried out again for this year or their New Year's resolution. If you're like me, maybe you will get lucky, and have a chance to talk about the bowl games or the NFL playoff push. The most important thing is to see if they have time after these busy closing days of the year. Your next conversation is to find out if you can ADD VALUE or HELP in some way. Do NOT look at this week as a bad week, this is an OPPORTUNITY week. Now SMILE 😁 because you are at work... and spread it to the next person you come across. CRUSH IT!
