We're seeing a HUGE shift in conversational marketing this year. The likes of Drift, a Salesloft company, Intercom, HubSpot and more have access to AI-based insights. And AI is changing the way we work and think. For example, traditional chat strategies often missed the mark. That's because they typically focus too broadly or too narrowly. Broadly in the sense that we put chat on every page of the website, which live agents can't possibly manage in terms of volume. So then we rely on chat bots, which aren't great at converting into sales because they lack the nuance required for good selling. Narrowly in the sense that to overcome the above challenge, we instead place chat on JUST the pricing page or contact page, which misses over 88% of actual buyers present on other pages on the website. So where does AI come in? It enables you to engage website visitors based on their real time buying intent signals. Machine learning models like Lift AI are pre-trained to spot website buyers based solely on their behaviour, scoring each visitor between 0-100 in real-time to determine their likelihood to convert. You can then use that real time score to trigger actions into something like Drift, Intercom or HubSpot Chat, and suddenly you can identify and connect with potential buyers more effectively, ensuring that live agents interact only with those most likely to convert while chatbots are used to nurture and support the rest. This strategy isn't just about increasing conversions; it's about refining our approach to customer interaction. With precise targeting, businesses can significantly enhance sales efficiency and focus on truly interested visitors, driving meaningful conversations and conversions.
