President at Surdna Foundation

I'm honored to join the Board of Directors of the Center for Effective Philanthropy. CEP's survey and data analysis tools provide funders with incisive insight into our effectiveness from the perspective of grantee partners, which is a rare accountability measure in the philanthropy sector. Their research—such as their latest report, "How Foundations are Supporting Grantee Staff Well-Being"—addresses timely questions and helps funders make data-driven decisions. As our communities grapple with intensifying challenges and opportunities, from the climate crisis to the advancement of racial justice, it's especially crucial for foundations to be thoughtful and strategic. I will do everything I can to ensure that CEP is well positioned to help field partners strengthen their efforts. https://lnkd.in/gpdxArxB https://lnkd.in/gJi7hsFP #philanthropy #funders #nonprofits

This is awesome news. They're lucky to have your wisdom in the mix. Aside: Greetings from Detroit. Here for foundation meetings and our grantee site visits. Been so exciting to see Detroit continue to be on the up & up -- always grateful for your work contributing to this trajectory over the years.
