It was an extraordinary privilege to participate in the Denver Business Journal's panel discussion on building the future of health care along with my counterparts at other area health systems. As the only safety net health care system, Denver Health plays a unique role. There are so many challenges our patients face regarding food, transportation, housing and more. Meeting these social determinants for our patients has become an increasingly important part of the care we provide.
