A few things we’ve done this year

How are those New Year’s Resolutions going? It’s okay if things aren’t turning out the way you originally planned. Improving yourself is hard work! Take just a moment to celebrate everything you’ve already accomplished this month. Even if you haven’t done everything you set out to do, did you make some progress? Did you push yourself? That’s something to be proud of! Today, try to celebrate your wins. Give yourself some rest. Becoming your best self is a marathon, not a sprint.

Week of Wins Update Up to now there's been strategising and detangling - working out WHAT the big task is (Angela Bryant's superpower 🦸♀️) to actually move forward, and the bigger rocks (for the week) to get it done. Celebrating that our Week of Wins people settled into the daily routine of committing to an exact list of tasks, and a time to do it. 🎉 Breaking a task into smaller doable tasks = clarity 💥 AND THAT IS MAGICAL ✨ Not just taking action, not just doing things, but the exact things that will move you forward.🚀 It's happening 🔥

I recently heard something about celebrating victories. Celebrating the small wins are important to motivate yourself to continue and to realize that you are capable of doing hard things. On the other side of that, making sure that you are not celebrating the same small victory forever is also important to maintain that growth. Keep raising your own bar and setting new standards and keep celebrating new small victories.

I am so bad at celebrating milestones. Here's what usually happens: 1) I'll have something on my vision boards for YEARS (house, dog, salary number, opportunity, etc.) 2) It will happen! 3) I do nothing to celebrate, end up treating it like a checkbox, & start thinking about the next goal So LinkedIn friends I'll ask - How do you celebrate your wins and any tips to making sure you do?
