So, a post about your lowest moment has gone viral. What's next? 275k+ impressions, 2k post engagements, 10k new profile views, and a 3x increase in interview opportunities. Phew, it has been a pretty wild 36 hours. I want to thank everyone who amplified my post, shared their positive vibes, wrote me incredibly kind messages, and charitably used the 'Care' and other reactji. I will admit that I am a little embarrassed by the attention. There are folks out there who have it far worse than I do. They have had to move back in with their parents, empty their savings, and have been looking 6, 8, or 12+ months for a role. The depth and breadth of the challenges of the current job market cannot be understated. I am lucky and privileged to be financially stable and have an incredible professional network, a supportive partner, and a close social circle to lean on. It takes a lot to surprise me regarding social media; in addition to my 12+ year career in the field, I've practically lived in it since the MySpace days. I'll have to share my story about meeting Tom from MySpace during my time as a Google+ influencer. I know that last bit reads like that special brand of LinkedIn parody, but it’s true! That said, I was blown away by the overwhelmingly positive support. I know many who engaged with me are fellow travelers and job seekers. I have worked diligently to build my professional network over the years, and it is now open to you. I am happy to amplify your posts like so many have done for me or even introduce you to someone if it makes sense. Please let me know if I can help. The rest of this post is less important, but if I'm showing up in your feed now, you may wonder if I'm worth the follow. Ok, who am I, and what do I talk about? Yes, that does sound like the beginning of an existential crisis, and maybe it is. I am a digital marketer in the Bay Area who also writes comics and does comedy. I maintain a sparse presence on LinkedIn but occasionally discuss particular challenges in my role or career. Recently, I've covered some approaches I take to online community building that I find strategically and tactically successful (and admittedly, the writing is more than a little self-indulgent!). I hope I'm a useful part of your day when I pop up. And again, thanks for all of the support.

"What do I talk about?" an interesting question to consider now that your post's gone viral. An exciting position to be in, and wishing you luck on continuing the impact your post has made.

I've never read something so profoundly mature and honest than that post. Of course I'll follow, you've already offered an incredible example of what humble and kind truly feels like.
