Keep going no matter your age or stage! It took me years to finish my doctorate while I had a family and a full time job as a nonprofit CEO. At my graduation we celebrated the oldest grad among us - she was 74 and had promised herself that once her kids were launched she would return to Teachers College and finish what she started. Es totalmente inegable que el continuo discrimen, el rechazo, las burlas, la falta de respeto, e incluso el "bullying" por la edad ; es algo que parece haberse convertido en un habito social desde tiempos inmemoriables. Mas , sinembargo aparenta ser mucho mas agresivo en estos ultimos tiempos. Muchos que le causan agravios de esa clase a los mayores de edad ; en su inmensa ignorancia parecen olvidar que un dia ellos tambien llegaran a la tercera edad. Mis felicitaciones a todos aquellos que siendo personas de edad avanzada han podido vencer y superar con tenaz, audacia y gran valentia todos esos ( arriba mencionados), obstaculos y le han demostrado con gran firmeza a todos y al mundo,.. que " Querer es poder" ; y que la edad nada significa.
