If there is anything I've learned in the last several years it's that we are all interconnected and a community is everything. Covid, and the last several years of layoffs in the professionals and tech industries have proved this. Many have reached out to me asking if I had news on insurance coverage for my immunoglobulin. No, news as of yet. I was proactively told it would likely be a few days before I heard from insurance. My own doctor said the peer to peer and doctor -insurance meeting was a slam down. I'm waiting... The amount of community support I received was heartwarming and frankly inspiring. There is so much good we can do when we collaborate. I'd need to ask for your help one more time. It's not for me, it's for David Packman, his wife Sabrina Packman and their children. We all know how rough the job market his been - in fact it's been down-right hellish. David, and Sabrina need immediate help, now. After the evaporation of jobs, ghosting, incredibly slow processes, burning savings, selling personal items - they will be losing their house this week if they can not raise immediate funds. I feel this to my core - I know this pain, embarrassment, worry and fear. I know so many of you have felt this as well.
