Are you ready for the updated Form N-PX reporting? In November 2022, the SEC adopted amendments to Form N-PX to enhance the disclosure of proxy voting information by mutual funds, ETFs, and other registered funds. Additionally, institutional investment managers filing Form 13F will need to report their proxy votes on executive compensation matters, known as “say-on-pay” matters. The final rule takes effect on July 1, 2024, and the first reports on the amended Form N-PX are due by August 31, 2024, covering the period from July 1, 2023, to July 31, 2024.
