From the iconic Iron Man to the mighty Thor and the incredible Avengers, Marvel has transported us into a world where heroes are born, and they make legends. Marvel's journey started as Timely Publications, then Atlas Comics, enjoying success in the 1960s and 1980s, nearly failing in the 1990s, to finally enjoying success in the 2000s and even being acquired by Disney. But that’s not it, read more about the Marvel journey and it’s success story at the link below. https://lnkd.in/dP4S4izn #Marvel #MarvelStudios #BusinessTransformation

You might be a big Marvel Entertainment Movies or Comics fan, but I am sure you didn’t know this… Marvel Universe as we know today - is an American comic book publisher and the property of The Walt Disney Company since December 31, 2009. But in actual, Marvel was founded in 1939 by Martin Goodman as Timely Comics on 1st of September 2023, and by 1951 had generally become known as Atlas Comics. 84 Years of Existance, Storytelling, Community Building and Monetisation. The Marvel era began in June 1961 with the launch of The Fantastic Four and other superhero titles created by Stan Lee, Jack Kirby, Steve Ditko, and many others. Marvel counts among its characters such well-known superheroes as Spider-Man, Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Doctor Strange, Hulk, Daredevil, Wolverine, Black Panther, and Captain Marvel, as well as popular superhero teams such as the Avengers, X-Men, Fantastic Four, and Guardians of the Galaxy. Its stable of well-known supervillains includes the likes of Doctor Doom, Magneto, Ultron, Thanos, Kang the Conqueror, Green Goblin, Red Skull, Galactus, Loki, and Kingpin. Most of Marvel's fictional characters operate in a single reality known as the Marvel Universe, with most locations mirroring real-life places; many major characters are based in New York City, New York, United States. Additionally, Marvel has published several licensed properties from other companies. This includes Star Wars comics twice from 1977 to 1986 and again since 2015. So, which has been your favourite Marvel Studios franchisee ? I ❤️ the Hulk. #storytelling #universe #marvelstudios #marvelcomics #marveluniverse #community #casestudy #celebration

Marvel Studios is assembling Earth's mightiest heroes — a lot of them — in Avengers 5. Deadpool & Wolverine director Shawn Levy is in talks and Marvel's "top choice" to direct the next Avengers movie after Shang-Chi's Destin Daniel Cretton bowed out of the project in November, according to Deadline. A source told the outlet that "more than 60 MCU characters could reprise their roles" in what is being described as an "ensemble feature" and "one of Marvel's largest productions to date." Unlike previous installments with the core six — Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Captain America (Chris Evans), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), and Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) made up the team in 2012's The Avengers and 2015's Avengers: Age of Ultron — the next iteration will reportedly find the super-team on more "equal footing." At San Diego Comic-Con in 2022, Marvel Studios president and producer Kevin Feige officially announced Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars as the end of the "Multiverse Saga" and Phase 6 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The two movies, originally set to release months apart, were initially dated for May and November 2025, but have since been pushed back: the now-untitled Avengers 5 will bow on May 1, 2026, followed by Avengers: Secret Wars on May 7, 2027. Star Wars fans, get ready to nod in agreement. 🌌 The iconic Star Wars saga has never fallen short of delivering heart-stopping action sequences. From lightsaber duels that had us on the edge of our seats to space battles that defined our dreams of adventure, these moments are etched in cinematic history. ScreenRant recently unveiled their picks for the "10 Best Action Scenes In Star Wars History," and I must say, I wholeheartedly agree. Each scene, more than just a showcase of visual effects, represents a pinnacle of storytelling, where character arcs intersect with the grandeur of the universe George Lucas envisioned. These moments aren't just battles; they're emotional crescendos, where the stakes are as high as the galaxy is wide. In business, like in Star Wars, it's the moments of high action and high stakes that often define our path. Whether it's navigating a tough negotiation or launching a new product, it's these pivotal moments that test our resolve, creativity, and spirit. The lessons here? Embrace your challenges, and remember, every action scene in your professional life is an opportunity to shine, to innovate, and to push beyond the ordinary. Check out the full list here and see if your favorite made the cut: [https://lnkd.in/gfqMFeaT) May the Force be with you, always. For geeks only post. Marvel has been in the news recently in a not so positive way. Feels like one of those moments when the guns come out and you wonder is this a coordinated effort or not. Lots of juicy stories and tidbits. Here is my geeky truth. The story is more simple than the way it is being told. It is all about mismanaged IP. The Multiverse IP concept that has driven basically all of Phase 4 has not been done well. The conceit on paper is interesting for the uninitiated: there are parallel universes where different versions of our heroes live (that are cool in their alternative-ness) and those worlds can collide. Pretty great on paper (ie the comics) and even in real-world science. It FEELS like Marvel got a little too excited about this concept and forgot it had to tell good stories with real stakes and not give away the entire story before you got to the movie (This last point is a separate post about the fan base). Two examples include the most recent Spider Man and Dr. Strange movies. You knew the whole slightly contrived storyline before you even got to the theatre. The storylines were utterly boring and suspense-less. No real stakes like the Thanos storyline (god I miss him). The reason the Secret Wars comic (pinnacle multiverse comic series) is so good is because it’s such a nuanced, weird, unexpected and kind of creepy story - but interesting as shit! The Marvel movie multiverse is just boring and got played out so quick. There are not enough rules constraining the concept so it seems like anything goes (and if anything goes, then there are no stakes). Bottom line: It’s a gimmick. And movie-goers see through it. Marvel fucked up. It should get out of the multiverse shit quick. Do fucking RDr. Doom vs. FF. Bring back the original avengers (oh wait, don’t do that, oh wait, you are already doing that). I suppose there is some business lesson in this take about community and protecting your IP but not sure what it is. That was super geeky to write but I enjoyed it :) #100yards #marvelstudios #kevinfeige

“The worse I am at something, the better I feel when I work at it and learn how to do it.” ~Rudeus Greyrat
5moI think Persona 5 stands up just fine without the “reload”, but perhaps it can bring in new fans to the series.
