“How do I connect more with my audience and increase my sales?” If someone says the answer is TikTok and Reels, you're listening to the wrong people. Instead, speak to your audience; don’t assume what they want based on social media. As words of wisdom I’ve always been given, “To assume is to make an ass out of u and me.” Find out what interests them and where those interests align with yours. You’ll be surprised at the different avenues that will open for you. Of course, some brands are made for TikTok, hell some of them have been made by TikTok, but it’s not the only way or the best way. The audience may be there (and increasingly so), but they’re not there to be sold to, and they can see right through it. They’re on TikTok to be entertained. They’re there for humour. They’re there to learn. TikTok is an encyclopaedia where you can find tutorials for nearly anything: from 80s comedy sketches and 1970s vox pox in Bristol (my personal favourite) to 90s house music, dance trends and news… You can’t copy and paste what you’re doing on Instagram (or even IG Reels) to TikTok. PROVE OFFLINE TRAFFIC TACTICS FOR YOUR BUSINESS...   1. Guest star on a radio talk show: Radio talk shows are hot these days and make a great platform for you to get your name out there.   2. Get yourself on television: Do a local television show as a guest. If you have the money pay for a local commercial spot. Television is an amazingly effective medium.   3. Be a guest speaker: Go to local clubs or organizations and volunteer to be a guest speaker for their next function. This works best if the group is somehow related to your product or if group members are a part of your target market.   5. Make yourself into an expert: Being an expert gives you status and makes people believe in you. Start establishing yourself as an expert in your community so you can have people start vouching for your expertise.   6. Advertise in a local magazine: Local magazines are affordable and a good way to get your name to the public.   7. Get in a newsletter: Many local organizations and groups publish newsletters that go out to all their members. You need to get your name in there. Write a guest article or do an interview.   #traffic #customers #marketing #public

Last week, I talked about how to make the most of your broadcast, and I talked about personalizing messages by mentioning the person's name continuously. Today, let's look at something else - Don't send too many messages. Sounds contradictory right? Make the most of your broadcast, at the same time, don't send too many messages. Well, there's a place of balance. Some people send close to three broadcasts per day, at the end of the day it may not be effective, as your audience may get annoyed or see it as disturbance and straight into archive. If you send too many messages, your audience may get annoyed, if you don't send enough messages your audience may feel disconnected. Are you confused? How do I know what my audience wants? Send a DM to some people in your broadcast asking for their opinion and work on it. Your Favorite Media Girl.
